I build payment systems (card processing, PSP integrations, vaulting, 3DS, fraud prevention, reconciliation) as highly available, asynchronous Node/TypeScript services. Recovered $59.6M in 7 months at ŌURA and added $600K/month at Natural Cycles by fixing approval rates, false positives, and involuntary churn.

Designed ŌURA's payments platform from 0 to 1: a card vault (Basis Theory) decoupled from Adyen and Braintree so each payment routes to the processor and local method with the best approval rate and lowest fees in that market, without expanding PCI scope. One platform behind D2C, B2B, and subscriptions.
Recovered $64.6K in the first 2 weeks of a new email-OTP step-up layer. 91.5% end-to-end challenge completion. 99.1% submit-to-verify.
